LOVE IN TIMES OF THE PANDEMIC

LOVE IN THE TIMES OF THE PANDEMIC

The following image is taken from the love story of Jeremy Cohen, which was viral news on social networks because this love story develops amid the current coronavirus pandemic.
In the image I can see two people standing on the street, they are a man and a woman looking at each other. The man is inside a kind of bubble. He is a bald man with a beard and white skin. He is holding a pink and orange bouquet of flowers in his left hand. He is wearing a blue, white and pink colored jacket, underneath he wears a gray sweater, he is also wearing black pants and white low top sneakers. He raises his right hand while smiling at the girl.
The girl is looking at him with a smiling face while joining her hand to his. She has black curly hair, she is white-skinned. Her hands have a kind of white gloves. She is dressed in an orange sweater with black and white stripes on one side of her arm. She has black pants and black sneakers with white laces.
Both are of similar stature, they are in a neighborhood setting, I can see the back of red car next to the girl, behind them are white, black, and brown walls. You can also see a kind of blue motorcycle behind the man.
They both look happy, even though they cannot really touch each other. They are having a date in the middle of all the chaos caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
In the image, I can see that the situation, the distance, the anguish or the fear does not matter. When you love someone you are able to make the impossible possible for those people.

For starters, the writing exercise is always a liberation exercise, from my point of view. It was an experience full of feelings, because its content is largely about difficult situations for us. I enjoyed having expressed what I felt and having read the productions of my classmates.

Writing these texts in collaboration with my teammates was a really fun process and it allowed me to improve my writing and teamwork, I think the end result really shows how we are holding up in this situation and I think creating stories and scenarios also allowed us to escape from reality a little and brought peace and courage to keep going.  It was really nice that my teammates resembled the same feelings because it made this journey easier.

We want to thank our teacher for giving us a new vision, about written, and helping us to have this process, realizing and entering those realities that are lived with this pandemic, and let us see that we can be creative in all our facets.
